Community Relations

The Silvi Group Companies are known for their contributions to various charitable organizations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  They have participated in many high profile projects such as Extreme Makeover and Make a Wish, but are most proud of the small gifts and and acts of kindness that go unnoticed, except by those on the recieving end.

Some of the small charitable donations include carrying the knowledge of mineral resources to local schools, supporting local sports activities and cheerleading squads, donating to local food pantries, helping develop vocational training at schools, participating in giving organizations such as the Rotary Club to help communities, encouraging their employees to participate in local government, and assisting boy scouts to qualify for their Geology Badge.

 Silvi is an active supporter of organizations that help protect, support, and acknowlege the actions and bravery of our armed service personnnel.  They have contributed material, money, and labor to construct several monuments honoring our troops.  They have helped with housing and handicap additions for those hurt in the  line of duty.

Silvi also generously supports many of the organizations we all depend on in times of need.   They host charitable events to raise money for a variety of causes.  Every year they host a motocross race at their Eagleswood facility and donate the proceeds to the the local fire department. SCRAMBLE  This year the total was almost $6000.00.  In 2012, the Silvi Group Companies donated 250 turkeys at Christmas time to various volunteer fire departments in communities where they have facilites located.  FIRE DEPARTMENTS Silvi also sponsers  at charitable events designed to raise money for those in our communities who are disadvantaged.

But most of all,  Silvi opens their hearts and thier business to the youth in our society. Through education and experience, they hope to shape the next generation in a positive way.  Whether its conducting a field trip to a sand quarry for grade school students, forming a Webelo troop for future boyscouts, or hiring interns from NJIT so they can get a hands on feel for the construction industry, the Silvi Group is leading the way.
