Corrosion Inhibitor

In the high-alkaline environment of concrete, reinforcing steel builds up a natural layer of ferric oxide to protect itself from corrosion. However, this layer can be damaged when the chlorides in the concrete combine with moisture and oxygen, leading to corrosion.
Corrosion inhibitor helps reinforcing steel maintain its integrity and is suitable for conventional, prestressed, or post-tensioned concrete—including concrete that may be exposed to chlorides from marine environments or deicing salts.
