Foundation
Silvi Materials and the Silvi family established the Silvi Foundation to advance cutting-edge research in Alzheimer’s, dementia, ALS, Parkinson’s, and related neurodegenerative diseases. Created in honor of company founder Larry Silvi Sr. and his wife Rose, both of whom battled Alzheimer’s, the Foundation reflects the same values that have guided Silvi Materials for nearly 80 years: responsibility and service to the communities we support. Through partnerships with leading institutions, including the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (IND), the Foundation invests in research focused on early detection, improved treatment, and stronger patient outcomes.
NJIT Concrete
Industry Management
Silvi Materials is proud to support the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. This distinctive major equips students with the education, mentorship, and training needed for successful careers in leadership roles within the concrete industry. The Silvi family was
instrumental in bringing CIM to the Northeast and continues to champion the program by hosting annual fundraisers, providing guest lectures, and offering internships and jobs to CIM students.
Silvi + Philadelphia Eagles Holiday Food Drive
Each holiday season, Silvi Materials is proud to partner with the Philadelphia Eagles, ACME Markets, and Campbell’s on a holiday food drive supporting families in West Philadelphia. The initiative brings together corporate partners, Silvi employees, Eagles players, and the local community around a shared commitment to addressing food insecurity during the holiday season. Over the past two years, the collaborative effort has resulted in the donation of thousands of non-perishable food items. Silvi Materials has matched employee contributions to help amplify the impact, with collected food distributed through trusted local partners. This holiday food drive reflects our belief that meaningful partnerships and hands-on involvement can make a real difference in the communities we serve.
Beat the Streets
Philadelphia
Beat the Streets is a sports-based youth development nonprofit dedicated to supporting student athletes in the greater Philadelphia region. They provide mentoring, tutoring, and wrestling programs to empower local youth. Silvi Materials is proud to partner with this remarkable organization by donating funds, giving tours of our facilities, and providing career pathways in the construction materials industry—whether students choose to pursue college or enter the workforce straight out of high school.
Bike MS: City to Shore
Bike MS is one of the largest charity cycling events in the country, having raised over $1.4 billion to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s mission to find a cure for MS and empower those affected to live their best lives. Each year, Silvi Materials sponsors a team of employees who contribute by participating in the challenging 75-mile “City to Shore” ride from Cherry Hill to Ocean City, NJ, and raising funds to help reach the cause’s ultimate destination: a world free of MS.
Dream Drive
Silvi Materials is proud to support Dream Drive, a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to uplifting children in foster care and families facing financial hardship throughout Bucks County and surrounding communities. Through our ongoing partnership, we have collaborated with Dream Drive to support their flagship Children’s Christmas Breakfast, including helping bring Sydney Brown to the event. As a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, Sydney has spoken openly about overcoming significant financial hardship early in life, making his involvement especially meaningful and closely aligned with Dream Drive’s mission of providing dignity, support, and opportunity to kids who need it most.

We are proud to bring our state-of-the-art concrete mixers to Touch-A-Truck events across the PA and NJ regions, offering kids an unforgettable opportunity to climb aboard, explore the controls, and even honk the powerful horns of these impressive machines. By giving children a hands-on experience with our mixers, we aim to inspire curiosity and excitement about the vital role our industry plays in building their communities!

The Business Association of West Parkside (BAWP) is dedicated to the development and enhancement of the West Parkside neighborhood in Philadelphia. With our Philadelphia plant located in West Parkside, Silvi Materials is proud to be both a partner and a board member of the BAWP. We actively engage in fundraising events for the Association and are committed to hiring as many team members from the community as possible.
Eagleswood
Volunteer Fire
Company
The Eagleswood Volunteer Fire Company is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to protecting the Ocean County, NJ, community. Silvi supports them by donating the use of our Eagleswood, NJ, sand mine for off-road driver training and rescue drills. Additionally, the fire company is the sole beneficiary of entry fees
collected during the annual ECEA Sahara Sands Hare Scramble dirt bike race, which takes place on our Eagleswood property. Each Thanksgiving, Silvi also donates turkeys to every member of the fire company as well as to other local firefighting organizations associated with our quarries.
