Meet Christopher Cameron

Christopher Cameron is the Terminal Operations Manager at Silvi, where he oversees the daily movement of materials through one of the company’s most complex and fast-paced environments. From coordinating marine shipments to ensuring safe and efficient terminal operations, Christopher plays a key role in keeping Silvi’s supply chain running smoothly. A graduate of West Virginia University, he began his journey with Silvi as an Assistant Terminal Operations Manager and quickly advanced into a leadership role. Outside of work, Christopher is a new father and loves spending time with his growing family.

I started as an Assistant Terminal Operations Manager, then moved into the Terminal Operations Manager role, where I oversee all activity at the site.

Current Responsibilities

I serve as the Terminal Operations Manager, where I oversee all activity at the terminal—from vessel offloading and inventory management to coordinating with trucking and production teams. My role involves monitoring the movement of materials, ensuring safe and efficient processes, and solving logistical challenges as they arise. I work closely with my team to maintain high operational standards, and I take pride in supporting a location that plays a central role in Silvi’s supply chain. Every day is different, fast-moving, and filled with opportunities to think critically and lead effectively.

Why I Chose Silvi Materials

I pursued a career with Silvi originally to advance my career in the mining sector. However, after reaching out via LinkedIn to company leadership, I was presented with the opportunity to enter Terminal Operations and haven’t looked back.

Favorite Silvi Memory

My favorite memory has been growing into a role that lets me use both my technical skills and my creativity. Managing the terminal has allowed me to problem-solve in real time, improve processes, and develop a deeper understanding of how our business moves. But more importantly, it has given me the opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated people who inspire me every day. Seeing our crew overcome challenges together—especially during high-volume periods—reminds me why I’m proud to be part of Silvi.
