Fun Fact
99% of the year, I prepare a home-cooked meal for my household—although I cannot bake to save my life.
Positions Held at Silvi
I started in the Leadership Development Program in June 2020 at our Belle Mead quarry, where I learned about all aspects of ready-mix concrete operations. From there, I moved into project coordination and now serve as an Assistant Project & Operations Manager.
Current Responsibilities
I am currently an Assistant Project & Operations Manager at Silvi Materials. In this role, I assist in coordinating contractors, reviewing construction documentation, and helping ensure each phase of a project is completed safely and efficiently. I also conduct site inspections, manage schedules, and collaborate with a wide range of teams to support project delivery. My work allows me to be hands-on with the development of new facilities and upgrades—projects that have long-term impact on Silvi’s operations.
Why I Chose Silvi Materials
As a petroleum and natural gas engineer with a minor in finance, finding a job during the height of COVID in 2020 was extremely challenging. I began exploring opportunities in other sectors, especially infrastructure, which is how I first came across Silvi. I was drawn to Silvi because it offers the capabilities of a large company while still operating with the culture and values of a family-owned business. The appeal grew even more when I learned we are vertically integrated—supplying our own batch plants with in-house sourced materials. That level of control, efficiency, and uniqueness within the industry made Silvi a place I genuinely wanted to be part of.
Favorite Silvi Memory
Specifically, my first time being on an ocean-crossing bulk cargo ship was a very interesting experience. Beyond that moment, one of my favorite parts of being at Silvi has been watching the growth and expansion of the company. Since my hire, we have bought and built several more batching plants, started selling materials to other states via rail, and invested heavily in expanding the company’s reach across the nation. I am happy to say that I am a part of this success, and each milestone we hit is a favorite memory of mine.
