Silvi Materials and Philadelphia Eagles Team Up for Second Annual Holiday Food Drive

On Monday, November 17, Silvi Materials partnered once again with the Philadelphia Eagles to host our second annual Holiday Food Drive at our Philadelphia plant. What began last year as a meaningful new community initiative has already grown into a powerful tradition, one focused on partnership, generosity, and real impact for families in our neighborhood.

This year’s event brought together the entire Eagles rookie class, including standout linebacker Jihaad Campbell, along with Eagles cheerleaders and mascot Swoop. Together with a group of Silvi employees, the team assembled and distributed holiday food boxes for 100 local families, coordinated in partnership with the Parkside Association of Philadelphia.

Each box contained Thanksgiving essentials, including turkeys and pumpkin pies generously donated by ACME, soups provided by Campbell’s, and more than 1,700 canned goods collected through Silvi’s internal food drive and matched by Silvi Materials.

Volunteers packed and handed out food boxes, greeted families, and worked side by side with Eagles players who embraced the opportunity to connect directly with the local community.
