Silvi Announces Three Concrete Plant Acquisitions in Southern New Jersey from R.E. Pierson Materials

 The SILVI GROUP has announced the purchase of three concrete manufacturing facilities located in South Jersey from R.E. Pierson Materials.   The facilities are located in Lumberton, Winslow and Logan Township’s.  The Lumberton Township plant was purchased on December 16, 2014 while the Winslow and Logan Township plants were purchased on March 26, 2015.  The Lumberton plant is located at 1550 Route 38 and will operate as Silvi Concrete of Mt. Holly.  The Winslow Township plant is located at 371 New Brooklyn Road and will operate as Silvi Concrete of Berlin while the Logan Township plant is located 66 Floodgate Road and will operate as Silvi Concrete of Logan.  

 SILVI’s newest concrete plants will stretch their service area from Newark, NJ to Wilmington DE and as far west as Lancaster, PA.  All three locations feature central mix plants which are consistent with all of Silvi’s other locations.  These plants will integrate the Silvi Group’s other operations, utilizing Riverside cement, Sahara sand and Gibraltar rock, giving customers the highest quality concrete in the area. “This acquisition fulfills our desire to expand our market”, stated John Silvi, who co-owns the SILVI GROUP companies with his brother Larry, “and allows us to serve our customers more effectively and ties into our existing plants and raw materials.”
