At Silvi Materials, we believe in building more than structures—we believe in building communities. That’s why, as part of our Silvi Supports initiative, we recently partnered with Allan Myers, Inc. to donate concrete to Free Fall Action Park in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Together, we contributed nine yards of PennDOT Class S concrete for a new bleacher pad and a fresh apron providing access to the park’s basketball courts. These upgrades offer parents a safe place to watch their children and help ensure better access to the park’s growing list of recreational programs.

A Shared Commitment to Giving Back

Allan Myers, a leading heavy civil contractor in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, shares our passion for community impact. Through their Helping Hand Up program, the company has supported Free Fall Action Park as part of their mission to invest in the communities where they work and live.

“We enjoy helping organizations like this,” said Steve Wehr, Field Manager at Allan Myers. “It’s great to provide kids a safe place with positive energy to do their thing.”

More Than a Skate Park

Free Fall Action Park is more than ramps and rails—it’s a hub for youth development. Founded nearly 18 years ago by David Kratz, a local pastor, the park was created to meet the needs of Quakertown’s youth. Originally slated to be shut down, the park found new life when Kratz stepped in with a vision: to offer a space where at-risk students could feel seen, supported, and empowered.

“Our core values are all about relationships, student development, and faith,” said Kratz. “We work hard to build meaningful relationships with students, give them a reason to learn new skills, and help them succeed beyond the park.”

Free Fall now hosts year-round skate, bike, scooter, and basketball competitions. It also offers summer camps, art and media programs, and job opportunities that teach real-world skills to local students.

Supporting the Next Generation

“Here at Silvi Materials, we were excited to jump on the opportunity to help Free Fall Action Park,” said Adam Mader, West PA Ready-Mix Concrete Sales Manger at Silvi Materials. “They’re making a real difference in the lives of local youth, and we’re proud to support their mission.”
