Fairless Hills, PA – The Northeast Concrete Industry Management (NECIM) Patrons Association raised more than $248,000 at its annual Scholarship Dinner on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Columbus Citizens Foundation in New York, NY. The funds will directly support students enrolled in the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Program.

The evening, which featured a four-course dinner and premium wine pairings, brought together current students, alumni, NJIT faculty and staff, and leaders from across the concrete industry. Additional contributions from supporters who were unable to attend further strengthened this year’s fundraising efforts.

It’s truly a win-win: students gain the support they need to pursue their education, and our industry benefits from the next generation of talented, entry-level management professionals.”

The Concrete Industry Management program at NJIT equips students with both technical expertise and business acumen required for leadership roles in concrete production, construction, and materials management. The multidisciplinary curriculum combines engineering principles, management training, and real-world industry exposure.

“This event represents the strength of our industry’s commitment to its future,” said Jake Ables, Chairman of the Northeast Patrons Association. “The continued support from our donors and partners ensures that CIM students graduate prepared to lead, innovate, and move our industry forward.”

NECIM extends its gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, and donors whose support makes these scholarships possible and reinforces the long-term vitality of the concrete industry.
