As we reflect on 2025, one theme rises above the rest: growth, guided by purpose. This past year marked a defining chapter for Silvi Materials. We expanded into new markets, launched new services, invested in our people, and deepened our commitment to community, sustainability, and safety. Every milestone, big or small, was rooted in the same belief that has guided our family-owned company for generations: growth means more when it’s done the right way.

Here’s a look back at the moments, projects, and people that made 2025 such a meaningful year for Team Silvi.

Growing Our Footprint + Capabilities

In 2025, Silvi Materials took several major steps forward to better serve our customers and strengthen our vertically integrated network.

We officially expanded into the Southeast with the acquisition of Eagle Rock Concrete, welcoming nine ready-mix plants and more than 100 trucks into the Silvi family. Operating as Eagle Rock Concrete, a Silvi Materials Company, the acquisition preserved a strong local brand while opening new opportunities for collaboration, reinvestment, and long-term growth across North Carolina.

Silvi Cement also broadened its reach, advancing distribution into North Carolina and Ohio. A deep-water site in Morehead City, NC is already active with temporary rail load-out operations, with plans underway for a full import terminal featuring two 100,000-ton domes. In Central Ohio, a new rail-served distribution facility is scheduled to open in spring 2026, designed to handle more than 250,000 tons annually and improve reliability across the region.

Closer to home, our new Newark, NJ concrete plant became fully operational, expanding capacity and improving service across North Jersey. Positioned near major highways and operating alongside our East Newark facility, the plant reflects our continued investment in infrastructure that supports speed, reach, and consistency.

We also launched Silvi at Home, extending our materials expertise to contractors and homeowners through a more accessible, service-driven offering, another example of meeting customers where they are while maintaining the same standards of quality and reliability.

Landmark Projects Across the Region

From high-rise towers to data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial developments, and critical infrastructure, Silvi Materials was proud to support some of the region’s most complex projects in 2025.

Highlights included:

  • Hudson Exchange – Jersey City, NJ: A 62-story high-rise requiring more than 60,000 cubic yards of concrete, poured on a demanding daily schedule with strengths up to 10,000 PSI.
  • AWS Data Center – Fairless Hills, PA: A multi-phase project involving over 1.2 million square feet of slab replacement, deep foundations, trench infill, and more than 35,000 cubic yards of grout for rigid inclusions and augercast piles.
  • Project Atlas – Philadelphia, PA: A new linear accelerator building for Penn Presbyterian Hospital, featuring heavyweight and mass concrete mixes designed to meet strict unit weight requirements.
  • CHOP New Patient Tower – Philadelphia, PA: A 32-story healthcare tower utilizing macro-fiber concrete mixes pumped to extreme heights, requiring close coordination between contractors, pumping experts, material suppliers, and Silvi’s QC team.
  • NFI Industrial Warehouses – Burlington + Westampton, NJ: Over 500,000 square feet completed in under three months to meet an accelerated construction schedule.
  • S-32 Bridge – Rumson, NJ: A new swing bridge completed in collaboration with Pierson Construction, supporting critical transportation infrastructure.

These projects showcased not only scale, but technical expertise, collaboration, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Safety, Training + Investment in Our Fleet

Protecting our people remains a core priority. In 2025, our ready-mix operations achieved a 40% reduction in injuries and a 20% reduction in at-fault accidents compared to 2024.

Nearly 400 employees participated in comprehensive ready-mix driver/operator and mechanic-led equipment training focused on functionality, care, and inspection, reinforcing a culture of ownership and accountability.

We also continued investing in our fleet, adding 15 new Oshkosh 2.0 mixers to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency across our operations. Also enhancing the fleet was a newly wrapped Kelly Green mixer, an homage to our partners, the Philadelphia Eagles, and their iconic throwback uniforms.

Recognizing Excellence

2025 was a year of well-earned recognition for Team Silvi.

At our annual Driver Rodeo at Lincoln Financial Field, Chad Duffield claimed first place under a new multi-day competition format. Alongside Kidanny Santiago and Roger Morales, he went on to represent Silvi Materials at the NRMCA National Mixer Driver Championship.

That same spirit of pride and excitement was on full display when Eagles’ standout defensive back and Super Bowl champion Cooper DeJean joined Team Silvi at our driver rodeo. What started as a bold idea, getting an Eagles player behind the wheel of a concrete mixer, became a reality as Cooper took part in the competition under the guidance of veteran Silvi driver and trainer Mardis Hinton. After the rodeo, Cooper hit the field as steady quarterback for a game of pickup football with employees’ kids, turning the day into an unforgettable experience for Silvi families. More than a special appearance, the moment reflected the genuine nature of our partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles and the family-first culture that defines life at Silvi.

Sustainability in Action

Sustainability continued to move from concept to execution in 2025.

At Princeton University’s Hobson College, Silvi partnered with Turner Construction and Nordic Contracting on one of the first higher-education projects to require a 20% reduction in global warming potential across nearly all concrete mixes. Through optimized slag-cement designs and product-specific EPD data, the project achieved a verified 19.987% reduction in embodied carbon, demonstrating how collaboration and accurate data can turn sustainability goals into measurable outcomes.

Supporting Our Communities

Giving back remained central to who we are.

In 2025, we officially launched the Silvi Foundation, marking its debut with a $100,000 gift to the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases to support research focused on early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, and related diseases.

We also continued supporting causes close to our team’s hearts:

  • The Second Annual Silvi + Philadelphia Eagles Holiday Food Drive, building on year one to provide critical support to local families.
  • A holiday partnership with Sydney Brown and Dream Drive, bringing Christmas cheer to children in foster care and families facing financial hardship in Bucks County.
  • Participation in the Eagles Autism Challenge, Bike MS, NECIM scholarships, and community build projects like Free Fall Action Park in Quakertown, PA.

People + Culture at the Core

None of this growth happens without people.

In 2025, Silvi Materials added more than 240 employees and welcomed our largest intern class yet, reinforcing our commitment to developing the next generation of industry leaders. We celebrated promotions from within, invested in training and safety, and strengthened the culture that makes Team Silvi special.

From employees representing us on national stages to families cheering on drivers at the Linc, the spirit of teamwork defined the year.

Looking Ahead

As we head into 2026, we do so with momentum, grounded in community-first values, strengthened by meaningful partnerships, and guided by purpose.

To every employee, customer, partner, and community member who played a role in 2025: thank you. Your dedication, trust, and collaboration continue to shape the future of Silvi Materials.

Here’s to building what’s next, together.
